When the Heart cant pump effectively fluid gets backed up into the hands and feet making them look puffy.

Proper nursing care can prevent fluid overload and take pressure off of the heart.
This can include things like :

  1. Weight Monitoring

  2. Sodium Restrictions

  3. Client Education

  4. Increasing physical activity where able
